A Message From The President

Do you remember ever getting the feeling that you are on a roll and everything is going great and better than you could have ever planned? Do you wonder if it is an accident or some greater power guiding your fate and/or your current successes? When this feeling comes over me, I can really tell! It manifests itself in small and sometimes even great successes, and one such success was our NPC meeting of April 3, at which time we had a 50% increase in attendance. For whatever reason, they came--strangers all! This afternoon I received a phone call from the office of the Director of Environmental Protection and Resource Management advising me that the long-sought meeting by the NPC is being organized by Mr. David Carroll, and the subject of the meeting is the implementation, schedule, ownership, budget, etc. for all of the North Point Peninsula Community Plan--2007, and projects described therein. To go on, the Bayside at Fort Howard project is approaching the point whereby the County and the developer are at least talking, although holding fast to the County's tenants has offered the developer means to an end (or shall we say beginning) of this project, and a meeting of the minds. Although less significant than the above, I have had some positive experience in my life that also was defined as "being on a roll." Thanks to our members for your support.
